Privacy

The short version: we never see who you are. We use privacy-respecting analytics and show ads, both via Google and Vercel — details below.

What reaches our server

Two things: the search query you type and the country code you've selected for scoring. For fresh traces these are forwarded to our AI provider (OpenRouter and the model behind it) to perform the research. Please don't type personal information into the trace bar — it's meant for product names.

Our hosting platform keeps standard server logs (IP address, request status, timing) for operations and abuse prevention, including rate limiting.

What never leaves your device

Your chosen home country and your recent traces are stored in your browser's localStorage only. Clearing site data removes them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (how many people visit, which products are popular), and Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for privacy-friendly visitor counts and performance monitoring. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect data such as your IP address; you can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on. We never see your name, account, or anything that identifies you personally — only anonymous, aggregate numbers.

Advertising

We show Google AdSense ads to keep the service free. Google may set cookies and collect data (such as your IP address and ad interactions) in accordance with Google's advertising policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ad Settings.

What we don't do

  • No accounts and no login, so nothing ties a visit to a real identity. The cookies on the site come from Google Analytics and Google AdSense (above), not from us directly.
  • No geolocation: we never ask for GPS or look up your IP location. The country suggestion is computed in your browser from its timezone and language settings.
  • No profiles, and no selling of your data to anyone.

Third parties

Fonts load from Google Fonts; ads from Google AdSense; analytics from Google Analytics and Vercel. AI research requests go to OpenRouter. Source links and "find it" links open external sites that have their own privacy practices.
